About Sugar Gliders & Their Diet

Sugar gliders are small gliding marsupials native to Australia, New Guinea, and Indonesia. In the wild, they feed on nectar, pollen, fruits, sap, insects, and buds—a mix of plant-based and animal proteins.

In captivity, a proper diet should contain:

• 15–25% animal protein (e.g., insects, cooked egg yolk, or high-quality cat food)

• 75% plant-based components (e.g., fruits and vegetables – avoid citrus fruits)

Because sugar gliders often favor certain foods while rejecting others, nutritional imbalances are common.
Adding NEKTON-Sugar-Glider two to three times a week ensures complete and balanced nutrition.

Feeding Recommendation

• Mix 10 g (1 measuring spoon) of NEKTON-Sugar-Glider with 100 ml of lukewarm water and stir until dissolved.

• Offer 2–3 times per week as a supplement to the regular diet.

• Always prepare fresh daily.
